Absolutely wonderful service from happily ever after bridal! I couldn't recommend them enough, all members of staff were really helpful with finding my special dress. They have a massive selection of all different styles of dresses/bridal accessories and know exactly what works perfectly together, i found all theyre advice more than helpful! I decided to go to happily ever after for my own gown after seeing the service my best friend was provided when buying her own gown and all her bridesmaids dresses, nothing was a bother to the members of staff and even worked all her fittings around the whole bridal party! 5* service!

I visited the store today and it couldn’t have been a better experience! I’ve only tried on dresses once before and I had such a bad experience and wasn’t really looking forward to today. We arrived 30 minutes early as we had gotten the train down and were allowed straight in. We were in the shop for aaaages and I had brought a mini army with me! Amanda was amazing at helping pick out dresses and giving the most helpful advise. I didn’t feel under pressure to make a sale or make my mind up straight away and nothing was too much trouble. We all had the best day and the dresses are beautiful! Would definitely recommend any brides to be to book up here - even travelling from Newcastle was 100% worth it! Thank you so much!

These are the most nice and wonderful people I have ever meet I only decide April this year to get married and was ment to be August due to me grandad falling Ill so I called in off the off chance to look at some dresses and picked one there any then I ended up getting married in the October instead due to some problem but these girls were fab from helping with everything else I would need for big day to dress fitting and fitting it all in within short space of time nothing seemed to be a hassle to them always on end of phone to help with problem n change would tell everyone to come to them just fab and thanks to these girl they made my dream well n truely come to my belated grandad see me on my special day xxxx

I can’t thank Happily Ever After enough for all of their help and support since day 1. I chose my dress throughout covid and even when we were in and out of lockdown I was always kept in contact with updates and appointments for my dress. Being plus size I was frightened to go dress shopping because I thought there would be no nice plus size dresses out there. But the plus size range Happily Ever After carry is phenomenal! I found my perfect dress and my husband, and all our guests had nothing but nice compliments. Id recommend this dress shop to anybody and being from aycliffe it wasn’t far to travel at all. I’m definitely going to have to put it on a few times more around the house 😂. Thank you to all the staff for making my princess dream a reality I’ll be forever grateful ❤️

  Omg where to start, I went to happily ever after on Wednesday it was my first bridal appointment I was quite nervous at first but Amanda made me feel so relaxed and really helped me I tried on a few different styles but I just knew when I tried the dress on that it was the one I just didn’t want to take it off 😍 thank you so much for giving me an amazing experience I still can’t believe I have said yes to the dress I already can’t wait to see it in 6 months time 🥰 Thank you again xxx

  Well after already buying a dress beforehand from another company.... and my wedding being postponed due to covid, also Venue being shutdown! I had to change all my wedding plans and felt I didn’t like the dress I originally bought, it was a lovely dress but did no longer feel like it was the one! Found a last minute appointment here on Facebook for happily after after yesterday and got myself booked in the next day! lovely little shop! Lovely lady called Amanda who owns the shop really welcomed me in safely with face masks and hand gel! And also 2 meter rule! Told Amanda my story and she really wanted to help me out and she did! She was so patient with me and listened to everything I had to say about what I wanted in a dress and understood. Also give me some great ideas! What I can see is Amanda absolutely loves her job and she’s very good at it! She generally cares for her brides! she opened the shop especially for me the next day after trying the dress of my dreams on to go back and show my mam on her day of! Thank you so so much Amanda I now feel super excited and relax for my wedding in 2021! stay safe and see you soon! 😘😘

  Amazing! Amanda made me feel so special and at ease. Stunning selection of dresses to suit everyone and if you're not sure what suits Amanda will! I can not get over how fantastic the whole experience was! can't wait until my dress arrives!!!
