So the summer is well and truly over and the dark nights seem to have drawn in quicker than ever before but here at Happily ever after we aren’t quite ready to let go of the memories of those lovely warm sunny days. I just love the sunshine and although the winter nights can be warm and cosy tucked up in our homes I just can’t help but think about the warmer month to come. The sweet floral scents and vibrant blue skies with the occasional soft white cloud floating by. I just close my eyes and can imagine I’m lying somewhere pleasant with powder soft sands and crystal-clear waters….divine. Read more →
What a fantastic day at the Darlington Weddings Blackwell Grange hotel Wedding Fayer today. The first wedding fayre of the year and wow what a venue it was! This stunning hotel with it’s long winding driveway & Georgian facade looks very grand from the outside and the inside is equally as impressive. With the splendor of the original sweeping staircase and huge fireplaces this venue is perfect for creating something very spectacular. The hotel grounds are vast and picturesque perfect for capturing those all important pictures to treasure for a lifetime. We caught up with the lovely ladies from Camera A Photography who were also exhibiting. These ladies know this venue inside and out and are guaranteed to capture some amazing shots, so they should defiantly be on your list of people to speak to.

Benefits of a lace up vs buttons
Can’t decide if you want a lace up or a button up back? Don’t worry, it’s hard for us to choose one over the other! While the lace up back gives you a more romantic and ethereal look, the button up back achieves a vintage style. While both options achieve different looks it’s up to you to choose one that fits your style.

Having had a large wedding in India, Sheela & Ranjith were eager to have a celebration back in the UK so that all their friends could attend. They decided on a service at Darlington Registry Office and hired out a new venue (so new that they do not have a website yet), Castle Eden, for the weekend.
